"I simply don't have the energy to explain the numerous ways this agency does not show up for their customers. They will not provide accurate information nor do they show up as your agent. The preferred method of this office is to direct you to the 1-800 numbers. They don’t even communicate to their own claims department, you have to be the middle man between claims and Tom Holland’s office. Horrendous experiences. DO BETTER."

"If I could give zero stars, I certainly would. When you’re left wondering why you even have a local agent, it’s a good sign to move on. I should have left years ago.

We get a letter stating we need a new roof, clean out the gutters, and add a railing on our entry stoops (20” off grade) or we’ll be cancelled.

I checked out our roof (under 10 yrs old) looked fine. But noticed hail damage. Filed a claim. Had to fight for coverage THAT WE PAY FOR. Finally get it approved.

Deadline was end of June. We had an ACTIVE claim open. Called Tom’s office. We were told, “good news! There’s a 30 day grace period.” That was a lie. Which we found out it was untrue because our mortgage company informed us that we needed coverage on our home.

Now in the reinstatement deadline, we add the stupid railing on our entry stoops. Send photos of proof. Now they come back and state that we need railings on BOTH sides of each of our stoops. There goes another thousand dollars and still no insurance.

No help from our local agency. No call from Tom. I called a new agency and they were appalled by our story.

I’m not one to make posts like this. But, this has been the most awful experience I have ever had with any service provider of any kind. They make the DMV look like a 5 star all inclusive resort."

"What is the point of having an agent? If you get into an accident they don't do anything for you. At least, this agent does not. They only refer you to the standard claims office/number. I had my vehicle towed for free as the company advised they work with State Farm and will tow it anywhere I decide after I talk with my agent (it was before hours). It has been a day and my vehicle still has not been picked up and hauled to the State Farm approved body shop. When I called for assistance from this agent, I was told to wait for a follow up call from the stand claims office/number. I really need to have the body shop to look at it to see if they can make it drivable (I hit a bear and I think it can be drivable if they can pull the bumper off the wheel). I am hoping it can be done because this agent did not advise me at the time I purchased the policy that rentals are not included. Thanks for not advising me on this ahead of time. Again, what is the purpose of the agent? On top of that, you get to jump through a lot of hoops and prompts (including during business hours) at the claims department before you can even talk to a human. Very disappointed in State Farm! It is not the same since I started driving 35+ years ago. I have had State Farm the entire time but it is obvious time to research and find a better company. This will be a lot of work but worth it in the long run. If any one has suggestions for a better company, please advise. I laugh....like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. LOL. What a joke!"

"Have been with them for 20 years +. I have seen a constant decline in service since. Most recently was never contacted to let me know that a payment method had expired. That could have led to a cancellation. In the past I would have received a phone call or email from Tom Holland's office."

This team is great. If you’re looking for the cheapest possible policy, this may not be it, but you get what you pay for, or you don’t get what you don’t pay for."
